Returns & Refunds Policy
EFFECTIVE DATE: 20th July, 2025
This Returns and Refunds Policy is part of, and must be read in conjunction with, our Website Terms & Conditions.
This Policy outlines when Lunch Buddi Pty Ltd will accept returns, issue refunds or offer credits. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law, which means you are entitled to a refund or replacement if your order is faulty, not as described, or otherwise breaches a consumer guarantee. However, we do not offer change of mind refunds or returns.
NO CHANGE OF MIND REFUNDS OR TASTE-BASED RETURNS
We do not offer refunds or credits:
If you change your mind
If you simply don’t like the taste of a meal
For perishable food that is not faulty
Taste is subjective, and all meals are prepared fresh to order. A meal being “not your favourite” doesn’t make it defective.
WHAT TO DO IF THERE IS AN ISSUE
If your order is missing, damaged, or not up to standard, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with the following:
Order number
A clear description of the issue
Photographs showing the problem
Contact: info@lunchbuddi.com.au
We will assess your claim and notify you of the outcome within 7–14 days. If Lunch Buddi is found to be at fault, you will be entitled to a replacement, refund, or store credit, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
NO RETURNS ON PERISHABLE PRODUCTS
Due to health regulations, we do not accept returns of food. All meals are made fresh and perishable, even unopened items cannot be reused or resold.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Non-Subscription Orders:
Cancellations not accepted after the weekly cut-off: Tuesday 11:59pm AWST.
Subscription Orders:
i. You can cancel, pause, or modify your subscription via your Lunch Buddi account.
ii. Changes must be made before Tuesday 11:59pm AWST to avoid charges for the next cycle.
iii. Cancelling your subscription does not cancel your initial order or most recent order.
REDELIVERY
If your delivery fails due to incomplete or incorrect delivery details, you must contact us within 1 hour of the
delivery attempt. We may offer same-day redelivery, subject to availability and a redelivery fee. However, due to
the perishable nature of our meals:
Same-day redelivery is not guaranteed
If we cannot redeliver the same day, the order may be forfeited without refund

STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from its description, you’re entitled to a remedy (replacement, refund, or credit).
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disagreements will be handled in accordance with our Website Terms & Conditions. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may seek assistance from consumer protection bodies or small claims court.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website and effective from the date stated above.
